Function and Usage
Water vapor permeability testing.
Water vapor transmission rate, permeability rate, permeability coefficient. Used for membranes, films, sheets, containers, and building materials made of materials such as plastic, fabric, leather, metal, etc.
Working Principle:
Balance Weighing: Water method and desiccant method are integrated, upright or inverted test cup both supported. Desiccant (desiccant method) or water (water method) is placed in the cup; seal the cup with specimen, place it in the test chamber; control the temperature, humidity and airspeed of the test chamber; the humidity difference between cup’s inside and outside drives water vapor to permeate the sample; the mass of the sample cup increases or decreases; weighing the at a regular intervals, calculate the water vapor permeation and other performance parameters of the sample.
