Function

Determining water vapor permeability characteristics of materials and containers.

Application

Film, sheet, container, and construction material of plastic, textile, leather, and metal.

Principle

Balance weighting: Desiccant method and wet method are integrated with an inverted wet method.

● Desiccant or water is filled into test dish; mount the specimen on test dish and place it into test chamber;

● The temperature, the relative humidity and the wind speed inside test chamber are controlled to the appointed value;

● The water vapor pressure difference between the outer and the inner of test dish will drive the water vapor permeating the specimen and the weight of test dish will increase or decrease;

● Weighingthe test dish and calculate the permeability characteristics of the specimen.

Characteristics

● Conform to Standards of China, USA, ISO Strictly.

● Test error attenuates to zero and the maximum error can be estimated.

● Gaseous Humidifier: water vapor and no droplet of water and avoiding the fake permeation from the droplet.

● Humidifier inside the test chamber: moisture air flows into the test chamber directly without condensing for passing through the low-temperature pipe.

● Patent test dish: no plastic material on the outside of the test dish (avoiding moisture absorption); an anti-skidding mechanism(avoiding distorting specimen); Sealing reliably.

● Temperature and Humidity: control humidity and pump water automatically; control temperature increasing or decreasing automatically through the TEC module.

● Patent balance protector: moisture-proof, heat-proof, and erosion-proof to protect the analytic balance.

● Uniform wind speed field：Biplane spiral circulation wind and the wind speed field, the humidity field, and the temperature are all well-distributed.

● Air Dryer: the desiccant is re-dried automatically and its replace period is about 6 months;

● Work environment: indoors without constant temperature and humidity (low cost), the test result is independent of the environment.

● Automatic：no mechanical knob; one button to test; terminating test and saving data automatically.

● Self-diagnosing：diagnosing when power-on and avoiding working within faults.

● Data record: graphical, all-time, and all-element monitoring and recording, multi-format reports.

● Data security: conform to requirements of the Chinese GMP “computerized system”.
