    Function:

    Determining water vapor permeability characteristics of materials and containers.

     


    Suitable for:

    Film, sheet, container, and construction material of plastic, textile, leather, and metal.

     

     

    Principle:

    Laser infrared micro water sensor with wavelength modulation(TDLAS).

    ●Nitrogen with a certain humidity flows on one side of the material, while dry nitrogen (carrier gas) flows at a fixed flow rate on the other side.

    ●The humidity difference between the two sides of the sample drives the water vapor to penetrate from the high humidity side to the low humidity side.

    ●The permeated water vapor is carried to the infrared sensor by flowing dry nitrogen (carrier gas).

    ●The sensor measures the water vapor concentration of the carrier gas and calculates the water vapor transmission rate of the sample according to the water vapor concentration of the carrier gas.
